CMRIT has consistently maintained an admirable recruitment record. The graduates and post- graduates of CMRIT have been recruited by some of the industry’s top corporations, besides leading Indian companies.
The Career Guidance and Placement Bureau at CMRIT plays a pivotal role in preparing students for their personal and professional life. Set up in 2000, the Career Guidance and Placement Bureau functions across all academic departments and offers placement assistance.
We put forward a variety of student-centric services as a single window point for career counselling and career development in all fields which complement classroom learning and prepare students for careers in industry, entrepreneurship, research or further studies.
We understand that each student is unique, and have different aspirations and plans for one’s careers ahead. Whether one is interested in pursuing further studies, becoming entrepreneur or working in industry, we are here to help.
Our goal is to help students apply their education and experiences towards advancing their career goals. Irrespective of the choice of career, be it continuing education, working for an organization, or entrepreneurship, we enable students to understand their strengths, goals, interests, and future career options so that they may take appropriate steps towards career preparation and personal growth.
We work closely with our industry partners to understand their project requirements, needs and expectations for the campus hiring process, and then match eligible students with placement opportunities through on/off campus hiring, internships and projects.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell (IEC) offers programs and seminars for those students who are interested in entrepreneurship. It first runs awareness session to get students enrol with IEC. It then runs idea generation workshops with students and works with industry to get ideas accepted and sponsored to develop prototypes and experiment ideas. It then supports interested students to grow as entrepreneurs connecting to external partners and alumni.
