The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2001.
The department offers two programmes:
The MCA programme focuses on training students in the fields of Application Software Development, Enterprise Resource Planning, Mobile development, Data Mining & Warehousing, Machine Learning etc. The programme also nurtures competent professionals through real-world projects, thereby and fosters continuous learning.
Accreditation, Approvals and Recognition:
The Department of Computer Applications is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum in Karnataka. CMRIT is also one of the handful of college awarded NAAC A+ grade in the year 2017 and the Department was accredidated by NBA in 2011.
