CMRIT’S IIC

To meet the MIC’s initiative to establish the Institution’s Innovation Council at Higher Education Institutions (HEI’s) CMR Institute of Bangalore’s IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council) cell has been established in 2018 and NISP policy has been implemented in the year 2019. CMR Institute of Technology Bangalore has initiated the efforts for implementing the National innovation and start-up policy (NISP) under the aegis of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC). The policy aims at promoting innovation and start-up culture among the students and faculty of the Institute

Mission

  • Establish professional networks to support various aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • Create necessary infrastructure to prototype ideas and to incubate startups.
  • Develop startup competencies by regular training, competitions, and other related activities.
  • Establish processes which guide and validate the conversion of business ideas into sustainable startups.
  • Participate on national and global platforms to understand the competitive landscape.
